The Radiology Directorate within ABUHB are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join their Administrative and Clerical team. The role requires the need for a degree of flexibility to cover flexible working hours over 3 days.
The successful candidate of this exciting post will be an integral member of the Radiology Booking Service team based at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny. Working as part of a dedicated team of Booking staff, Radiologists, Radiographers and nurses, they will be responsible for the day-to-day booking and maintenance of outpatient appointments for Radiology across the Health Board. The post holder will ensure service users have a positive and professional experience at all times.

Main duties of the jobThe duties of this new post includes,
- Ensuring all patients appointments are processed in accordance with the internal and national targets.
- Working in a call centre environment with high call volume turnaround
- Making sure that clinic capacity is utilised so cancellations are kept to a minimum
- All procedure appointments are booked in a timely fashion utilising list capacity across Radiology in ABUHB.
- Liaising with other team members to ensure that waiting times are kept to a minimum, working with the radiology referral and booking manager and booking service team
- Ensure a professional and friendly telephone manner is maintained
